Subliminal Projects

Subliminal Projects, an independent production house centered in Portland, OR, will be launching Jihad -- a regular publication featuring art, politics, humor and social commentary. Though based in Portland, Jihad will focus on topics both national and global. It can be ordered for cover price plus shipping from anywhere in the world.

The editors intend for the heart of Jihad to be its forum, Intelligent Life. It would be easy and satisfying to simply print the views of our staff, but it wouldn't really be communication; that is our goal.

There are no requirements for submissions to the forum. If you have something you would like to say in print, we want to read it. For those unsure of what to write, we suggest current events, rants, complaints, conspiracy theories, or your own true stories- no matter how absurd. We also welcome articles, book/movie/music reviews and fiction of all genres. We are eager to give voice to as many different veiws as possible.

Please keep in mind that Subliminal Projects cannot pay for submissions of any kind. By submitting your work, you give us permission to publish it in Jihad. You retain ownership of your work. We are not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen submissions. We do not return submissions, so please make copies! We ask that you provide your mailing address, email address, and phone number so that we may contact you if we have any questions. Your personal information will be kept safe and private.
